Message:

Bangalore has an elaborate Rail Network that is barely being used for urban transport. Instead new transport corridors are being developed that are not only extremely capital intensive but also needing land acquisition, altering the city landscape and leading to displacement.

Outputs (for mid March): Print based communication material using maps (english + kanadda)

1. A smart rail map with rail time table for transport within Bangalore

2. A spiral based flip of multiple layers (maps + data) City level layers - Metro - map, investment/km, ridership details, coverage Road - major roads, ring roads, bus stops, national highways, major traffic corridors Land use - residential, commercial, industrial, government

3. A specific user group/issue focussed material (for example workers that travel to Peenya/ IT crowd/ people that travel to Government offices) & data (Stations, People, Timings, Tickets, Money, Pollution.)

4. Bangalore Rail Day (along the lines of Bangalore Bus Day) at a conceptual level
